The purpose of the guideline is to deal with vibrations in pipeline systems, in particular to describe the vibration phenomena and their excitations; Specification and explanation of calculation methods for recording the loads and for verifying the piping systems; Specification and explanation of measuring methods for the analysis of pipeline vibrations; Specification of methods for evaluating vibrations and vibration-induced stresses and naming of remedial measures in the event of vibration problems.
