This standard establishes requirements for the design, installation, inspection, testing and operation of flight systems operated manually and used to create effects of flight in the entertainment industry. Flight systems are operated by hand with a single and / or plural cables, mechanical advantage (based on complicated rig, but it does not work with electric motors) and / or counterweights to move vertically persons and / or horizontally, with the aim of create the illusion of flying. Installation maintenance and flight crew are not understood as part of the performance and, therefore, are not covered in this standard.Entertainment is defined as (but not limited to) all leisure activities and sports, arts and cultural performances, entertainment, or product presentation.Examples of events are:- Product presentations;- theatre plays;- Concerts;- Festivals;- Fairs;- Holidays;- Major Festivals;- Meetings, meetings demonstration etc.
