Covers a procedure for utilization of colour measuring instruments for quantifying the small colour differences between plain coloured glazed ceramic tiles, intended to be of uniform and constant colour. Allows the specification of a maximum acceptable value depending only on the closeness of match, and not on the nature of the colour difference. Does not include colour variations produced for artistic reasons.
