Für Sechskantmuttern aus Stahl mit Klemmteil (Ganzmetallmuttern) Typ 2 sind für die Festigkeitsklassen 8, 10 und 12 die Masse und die technischen Lieferbedingungen festgelegt. Die Festlegungen umfassen Muttern mit Feingewinde in der Produktklasse A für Gewindedimensionen von M 8 bis einschliesslich M 16 und in der Produktklasse B die Gewindedimensionen über M 16 bis einschliesslich M 36. Ein Bezeichnungsbeispiel ist angegeben.
