Es werden die Anforderungen für die Konstruktion, Herstellung, Zulassung und Annahmeprüfung sowie für die Stückprüfung bei der Herstellung von vollumwickelten Druckgasflaschen für Flüssiggas festgelegt. Der Fassungsraum solcher Flaschen liegt zwischen 0,5 Liter bis einschliesslich 150 Liter und der Prüfdruck ist mit 30 bar bei Raumtemperatur festgelegt. Der zulässige Betriebstemperaturbereich liegt zwischen -40 grad C und 50 grad C. Diese Flaschen können einen Kern aufweisen, der aus Stahl (geschweisst oder nahtlos) oder aus einem nichtmetallischen Werkstoff besteht und mit Faserwerkstoffen verstärkt wird. Die Anforderungen dieser Norm gelten auch für Flaschen ohne Kern. Für die Gestaltung sind die notwendigen Berechnungsformeln und Ausführungsbestimmungen angegeben. Die technischen Anforderungen zur Erlangung der Bauartzulassung sowie eine der Annahmeprüfungen sind im Detail beschrieben. Die verschiedenen Arten von Druckprüfungen werden behandelt. Die Bewertung von Herstellungsfehlern und die Bedingungen für die Zurückweisung zum Zeitpunkt der Sichtprüfung beim Hersteller sowie Anforderungen an verschiedene Prüfungen, zB Fallprüfung, Brandprüfung, sind beschrieben. In diese ÖNORM wurde die Europäische Änderung A1:2005 eingearbeitet, wobei Änderungen zum Vorwort, zu Abschnitt 2, zu 5.1, 5.2.9, 5.2.10 und zum Anhang A durchgeführt wurden.
