Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Eindringtiefe und damit zur Prüfung des Verhaltens von Gussasphalt, Walzasphalt und ähnlichen Asphalten bei Beanspruchung mit einem zylindrischen Stempel mit kreisförmiger ebener Grundfläche. Die Norm enthält normative Verweisungen. Angegeben werden weiters die erforderlichen Geräte, die Probekörper, die Durchführung, die Auswertung, die Angaben des Prüfberichtes und die Präzision des Prüfverfahrens.
