Applicable to all kinds of joint preparation for submerged arc welding with one wire electrode on steel. Describes the welding positions PA and PB in accordance with ISO 6947. Applicable to fully penetrated welds. Partly penetrated welds, types of joint preparation, shapes and dimensions may be different from listed proposals if defined in the relevant application standard, or agreed by parties concerned.
