Defines a procedure for determining the nitrogen content in water, in the form of free ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and organic nitrogen compounds capable of converting to nitrate under the oxidative conditions described. Does not determine dissolved nitrogen. Applies to the analysing of natural fresh water, sea water, drinking, surface water and treated sewage effluent. ALSO KNOWN AS BS 6068-2.62(1998)
