Applies to the following nailing machines used in the footwear manufacturing industry - heel attaching, heel nailing and gang nailing machines. Not applicable to gang nailing machines compliant with all respects with the requirements for seat lasting machines. Defines safety requirements for designing and constructing nailing machines but does not include specific requirements for transport, commissioning and decommissioning.
