The base material varies from greater that 0.25 to 3.0 in. (6.4 to 76 mm) inclusive in thickness. This handbook is not suitable for shipyard use. This handbook is for guidance only. This handbook cannot be cited as a requirement. If it is. the contractor does not have to comply.
