Construction of outer framed wooden boxes for packing

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies constructional requirements for framed wooden boxes with contents of 10 tons or less and with external length of 8.0 m or less, external width of 3.3 m or less and external height of 3.3 m or less, which are used for cargo to be contained in shipping containers or cargo to be carried in a shipping environment where similar external loads to this is expected, and to which struts (excluding auxiliary struts) and other framing members equivalent to cleats are attached from the outside (hereafter referred to as outer framed boxes).
