Specifies silver brazing filler metals with a silver content of not less than 20% by mass for brazing heavy metal workpieces, made, for example, from iron, copper and nickel and from noble metals and their alloys. DIN 8513 Part 1 specifies copper base brazing filler metals, and DIN 8513 Part 2 silver brazing filler metals containing less than 20% of silver.
