This part of ISO7876 establishes a vocabulary for high-pressure pipes and end-connections in fuel injection systems for diesel (compression-ignition) engines.
These high-pressure pipes and end-connections are used in fuel injection systems worldwide and require precise terminology.
NOTE When the word “fuel” is used in the terms listed it can be omitted providing there can be no misunderstanding.
