1 Measuring device for dust and sand test

Gives the general design and test requirements of transformer rectifier units used in aircraft which includes rectifiers, transformers and associated control and protection equipment. Design and construction of the units are suitable for operation at altitudes up to 13700 m (45000 ft), and over an ambient temperature range of -55 Degrees C to + 70 Degrees C. The rating of variable frequency units shall be declared at a frequency of 320 Hz and preferred nominal current ratings for units at sea level and at a temperature of + 70 Degrees C are 50, 100, 150, 250, 400 amperes. Including salt corrosion test and dust and sand test. Illustrates measuring device for dust and sand test.
