Defines safety requirements for designing, manufacturing and information for safe use of palletizers, depalletizers, and stackers/unstackers of empty pallets integrated or not into a (de)palletizer. Applicable to automatic and semi-automatic (de)palletizers, taking into account hazards possible during setting, commissioning and decommissioning adjustment, use in accordance with manufacturer, preventive and repair maintenance and cleaning. Not applicable to heat, noise, radiation, fumes, gas, dust and vibration and ergonomics. In addition hazards arising from toxic or flammable contents of the load are not covered.
