Describes recommendations for the selection and installation of various types of domestic heating and cooking appliances burning solid mineral fuel in both new and existing buildings, including open fires without convection, roomheaters, independent boilers and freestanding cookers and warm air heating appliances: natural convection. The appliances in these categories incorporate provision for domestic hot water supply or space heating or both. Certain aspects relating to the safety of warm air heating systems are dealt with in this code.
