Sets out safety requirements for single PATIENT single pass HAEMODIALYSIS EQUIPMENT for use either by medical staff or under the supervision of medical expertise, including patient operated HAEMODIALYSIS EQUIPMENT. Excludes blood lines, HAEMODIALYSERS, DIALYSING FLUID CONCENTRATE and water purification EQUIPMENT. Includes sections on protection against electric shock, mechanical hazards, excess radiation, explosions in medically used rooms, excess temperatures, fire, etc., accuracy of operating data and protection against incorrect output, fault conditions and constructional requirements.
