This British Standard specifies the nominal sizes, dimensions, quality, finish and testing of engineers’ cold chisels and allied tools for hand use as follows:
- flat chisels;
- cross-cut chisels;
- half-round nose chisels;
- diamond-point chisels;
- brick bolsters;
- floorboard chisels;
- plugging chisels;
- concrete or moil points;
- parallel pin punches;
- taper punches (including nail and reaper punches);
- centre punches.
