1.1This specification covers refined palladium as sponge, cast bar, and wrought forms (Note 1) in one grade as follows:
1.1.1Grade 99.95 (UNS PO3995)—Palladium having a purity of 99.95 %.
Note 1:Other forms of unfabricated palladium of commerce are not to be excluded under this specification.
Note 2:For the purposes of determining conformance with this specification, an observed value obtained from analysis shall be rounded to the nearest unit in the last right hand place of figures used in expressing the limiting value, in accordance with the rounding method of Practice E29.
1.2The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
