Electromagnetic radiation disturbance limits are developed for the purpose of protecting radiocommunication services and signal levels. The new classification of ISM equipment is based on how the radio frequency energy generated within the equipment is applied as well as how the equipment is designed and intended to be used. Technically identical to IEC/CISPR 11:1990.
