This Standard specifies the minimum equipment requirements for safe and efficient recovery or combined recovery and recycling of refrigerants, in both the liquid and vapour state, that have been directly removed from and are intended for reuse in, any commercial or domestic HVAC/R system which contains a refrigerant. It outlines minimum equipment specifications, and test methods to determine equipment performance.NOTE: The equipment specified in this Standard is not intended for use with ammonia or flammable refrigerants, e.g. hydrocarbons and the like.
