Sets out visual grading rules, dimensional tolerances and acceptable species for rail track sleepers, special sleepers for lead, crossing or turnout timbers and bridge transoms. F grades are given for use in the design of bridge transoms. This Standard is to be used in conjunction with AS 3818.1.
