This document provides a guide to the features and typical properties that are expected of a water-borne latex, primer paint for interior and exterior use on zinc and zinc alloy surfaces (e.g. galvanized iron) when applied by brush, roller or spray, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.Paints covered by this guide are classified as Paint Type 12 of AS 2311.The guide deals with primers that are to be further coated with latex paints or solvent-borne paints.
