This Standard establishes the minimum requirements for the training, examination, qualification, and registration of non-destructive testing personnel employed in the Australian aerospace industry.This document applies to the qualification of personnel who perform eddy current, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, radiographic and ultrasonic non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.NOTE: The terms non-destructive 'test' and 'testing' are used throughout this document for the sake of consistency It is appreciated that the terms non-destructive 'inspection' and 'evaluation' may be more appropriate in some contexts.
