This standard provides a guide to procedures for the painting of buildings for general domestic, commercial and industrial use.NOTES:1 Appendix A provides recommendations for a check list for the preparation of a painting system specification applicable to new surfaces.2 Appendix B provides recommendations for a check list for the preparation of a maintenance painting specification applicable to previously painted surfaces.3 Appendix C provides recommendations on inspection and testing.4 Appendix D provides a table of equivalent paint specifications that are listed in various documents.
