This Standard sets out the procedure for the determination of the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) of a soil when compacted and tested in the laboratory. The method is applicable to both fine-grained and medium-grained soils as defined in AS 1289.0.
First published as part of AS A89-1966.
Revised and redesignated AS 1289.F1.1-1977.
