Sets out recommendations for the preparation of plans for structural engineering work. The first two sections, taken with Part 101 of AS 1100, provide a common method for representation of structures and structural elements, including identification of elements and conventions for cross-referencing. Section 3 provides recommendations applying to particular materials, including reinforced and prestressed concrete, structural steel, timber and masonry. An appendix gives the recommended format for a reinforcement schedule.
