Outlines minimum requirements for double-acting reciprocating compressors of 600 brake horse power (448 kW) and below with lubricated or non-lubricated cylinders in utility air and/or instrument air service up to 125 pounds per square inch gage (8.6 bar). Driver, related lubricating systems, controls, instrumentation, intercooler, aftercooler, receiver and other auxiliary equipment also covered. The compressor will generally be spared.
