A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

This report describes practices developed over many years in the successful use of the method; defines the reasons for material requirements that are different from those usually specified for ordinary concrete; and provides information on equipment, forms, aggregate handling and grouting procedures. A brief history of the development of the method is given. Photographs and short description for a few major applications are used to illustrate techniques.
