This guideline applies to the planning of servicewater systems for buildings and estates. In particular, it refers to: • greywater recycling • stormwater harvesting • well-water harvesting • surface-water harvesting • process-water recycling With particular attention being given to the following applications (see Table 1 in Section 6.2): • landscape irrigation • cleaning • toilet flushing • commercial use • cooling water • fire-fighting installations This guideline describes the requirements regarding the interfaces or points of supply between the drinking-water supply system and the servicewater system, and defines further requirements to be met by the service-water system.
