Diese Norm legt die Verfahren fest, nach denen die folgenden geometrischen Kenngrössen von Elektroblech und -band zu bestimmen sind: Ebenheit, Bogigkeit, Kantenkrümmung, Abweichung von der Schnittlinie aufgrund innerer Spannungen, Grathöhe von Schnittkanten. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Elektroblech und -band, das zum Aufbau magnetischer Kreise und entsprechend den Kapiteln B2 bis C21 und C22 der IEC 404-1 verwendet werden soll.
