This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies semi-tubular rivets made of steel, hereinafter referred to as the "steel rivets", semi-tubular rivets made of brass, hereinafter referred to as the "brass rivets", semi-tubular rivets made of copper, hereinafter referred to as the "copper rivets", and semi-tubular rivets made of aluminium, hereinafter referred to as the "aluminium rivets" for general application.
