Steel wire ropes — Ferrule-secured eye terminations

Specifies minimum requirements for ferrules made of steel, aluminium or copper. The eye termination may be made either as a Flemish eye or a turn back loop. Prototype tests covering the type acceptance of ferrule-secured systems and routine quality control requirements are also specified.
