Proposes the revision of AS 3947.3-1994 and its Amendment 1:1995 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard by the adoption of IEC Standard 60947-3:1999 which includes Corrigendum:1999 and Amendment 1:2001 to specify type, ratings and characteristics of switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units to be used in distribution circuits and motor circuits of which the rated voltage does not exceed 1000 V a.c or 1500 V d.c.
