Specifies a common framework for the content and the structure of identification, administrative and common clinical data. Applicable exclusively to situations in which such data are recorded on or transported by Intermittently Connected Devices (ICDs) which are meant for healthcare use. Defines the basic structure of the data, but not specifically particular datasets for storage on devices.
