La prsente Norme internationale dfinit les exigences pour la conception, la fabrication et les essais des quipements de levage utilisables pour les oprations de forage et de production. La prsente Norme internationale couvre les quipements de levage utiliss pour le forage et la production suivants : a) poulies de levage b) moufles mobiles et fixes c) adaptateurs entre moufles et crochets d) pices de connexion et d'adaptation pour bras lvateurs e) crochets de forage ; f) crochets pour tubes de production et barres de pompage g) bras lvateurs ; h) lvateurs pour tubes de cuvelage, de production, tiges et masse-tiges de forage i) lvateurs pour barres de pompage ; j) adaptateurs d'oeillets de ttes d'injection k) ttes d'injection (rotary swivels) ; l) ttes d'injection motorises (powerswivels) m) raccords motoriss (powersubs) ; n) cales coins lorsqu'elles peuvent tre utilises comme lvateurs o) ras ; p) compensateurs de pilonnement en ligne q) quipements de vissage de tiges carres lorsqu'ils peuvent tre utiliss comme quipement de levage r) rservoirs sous pression et tuyauterie installs sur des quipements de levage s) colliers de sret lorsqu'ils peuvent tre utiliss comme quipement de levage t) chariots rtractables (doilies) (annexe B). La prsente Norme internationale tablit des exigences correspondant deux niveaux de spcification de produits (PSL). Ces deux appellations PSL dfinissent diffrents niveaux d'exigences techniques. Toutes les exigences des chapitres 4 11 sont applicables PSL 1, moins d'tre expressment identifi comme PSL 2. PSL 2 comprend toutes les exigences de PSL 1 plus des pratiques complmentaires prescrites dans le prsent document. Des exigences supplmentaires ne s'appliquent que lorsqu'elles sont spcifies. L'annexe A donne un nombre d'exigences supplmentaires normalises.
