Stabilisce i metodi di prova per la determinazione delle caratteristiche alle quali devono soddisfare i tubi di polietilene a bassa densità. Per i tipi, le dimensioni e i requisiti dei tubi per condotte in pressione, vedere UNI 7990. Le prove considerate si distinguono in: (esame dell'oggetto, dimensioni, tenuta idraulica a pressione interna dei tubi e/o giunti) e prove distruttive (tensioni interne, resistenza a pressione interna a 20 gradi cent. E a 70 gradi cent.). Procedimenti. concorda con: ISO 1167, ISO 2506 e avamprogetto ISO 4427.
