Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM legt ein Prüfverfahren für die nichtelektrischen Eigenschaften von oberflächenmontierbaren Induktivitäten fest, die in der Elektronik und in Telekommunikationsgeräten eingesetzt werden. Gegenstand dieser Norm ist ausschliesslich die Festlegung von Messverfahren für die mechanischen Gebrauchseigenschaften. Während Zuverlässigkeitseigenschaften und -festlegungen hinsichtlich der nichtelektrischen Eigenschaften in ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 62211 festgelegt sind, behandelt diese Norm ausführlich die Messverfahren für die mechanischen Eigenschaften bei der Zuverlässigkeitsprüfung.
