This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the buried polyethylene pipes used for the supply of town gas and liquefied petroleum gas: single layer pipes (including the polyethylene pipes with identifying stripe): polyethylene pipes with co-extruded two layers or three layers specified in Annex A. The material of each layer to be used shall have that of the same MRS: covered pipes specified in Annex B that are polyethylene pipes covered with peelable thermoplastic material on the outside surface.
