Methods of sampling for chemical analysis of ferroalloys (Part 4: Ferronickel)

This Standard specifies the sampling methods of ferronickel in ingots, pieces or shot form or the sampling method of ferronickel from molten metal, with a view to obtaining a representative laboratory sample for physical analysis as fluorescent X-ray analysis, emission spectral analysis and so on, carbon and sulfur contents analysis by dry-type method, or chemical analysis method for other components.
