This Standard specifies a.c. air-break moulded-case circuit-breakers for household and similar installations having a rated voltage not exceeding a.c. 440 V (between lines) or a.c. 300 V (voltage to earth) with a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, a rated current not exceeding 150 A and a rated breaking capacity not exceeding 25 kA.
