Applies to those components of X-ray equipment which influence theimage quality of equipment for digital subtraction angiography(DSA) with an imaging system consisting of an X-ray generationsubsystem, a detection device comprising an X-ray image intensifiertelevision chain, means of digitization and digital imageprocessing, image storage and image manipulation includingsubtraction, and facilities for image display.Defines the essential parameters which describe the performance ofthe above-mentioned components of X-ray equipment with regard toimaging properties, and defines methods of testing whether measuredquantities related to those parameters comply with specifiedtolerances.
