This draft European Standard specifies a test method for determining the (splitting) indirect tensile strength of cylindrical specimens of bituminous mixtures.NOTEDetermination of the water sensitivity of bituminous specimens in accordance with EN 12697-12 is based on determination of the indirect tensile strength in accordance with this test method.
