This standard is included in DIN HDBK 183. Specifies masonry manhole shaft collars that are welded onto underground tanks in compliance with DIN 6608 Part 1 or 2or with DIN 6619 Part 1 or 2. The collars are designed to accommodate auxiliary tank equipment and to facilitate inspection of the tank and its safety features. They also enable the user to spot small leaked quantities.
