Diese Norm gilt für photoelektrische Anordnungen, die in Kameras eingebaut und mit einer Einrichtung zur die Regelung der Filmbelichtung gekoppelt sind. Diese Einrichtung kann den Lichtstrom, der durch das Objektiv tritt, oder die Öffnungszeit des Verschlusses oder auch beides beeinflussen und die Berücksichtigung verschiedener Filmempfindlichkeiten ermöglichen. Sie legt die Grösse der Filmbelichtung in Kameras sowie die Bedingungen für die Kalibrierung der automatischen Belichtungseinstellung fest.
