Defines information used to determine traffic loads on bridges to be located in the UK. Loading for railway bridges outside the scope shall be specified by the relevant authority. Loading for highway bridges outside the scope shall use loads derived from the relevant parts of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB). Does not cover traffic loads required for structural assessment and appraisal of existing constructions, or assessing change of use, or loads required for assessing repairs and modifications.
