This standard relates only to keyboard keys needed to prepare written tests in English or French, and is intended to achieve a uniform typewriter keyboard layout that can be used in either the English or French language. The 'Function' or 'Control' keys are not addressed, nor are specific requirements for data or word processing terminals or systems.
