Scope This section of IEC 598-2 specifies requirements for luminaires with built-in transformers for filament lamps, with supply voltages and output voltages not exceeding: - 1000 V for class I and class II luminaires; and - 250 V for class 0 luminaires. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of IEC 598-1 to which reference is made. This section does not apply to class III luminaires. It is not necessary to use \"Safety extra low voltage\" (SELV) transformers to comply with the requirements of this section. However, such transformers may satisfy the functional requirements of this section. -------------------------------------------------------- Domaine d\'application La présente section de la CEI 598-2 spécifie les prescriptions applicables aux luminaires avec transformateurs intégrés pour lampes à filament de tungstène, pour des tensions d\'alimentation et des tensions secondaires ne dépassant pas: - 1000 V pour les luminaires de la classe I et de classe II - 250 V pour les luminaires de classe 0. Elle doit être lue conjointement avec les sections de la CEI 598-1 auxquelles il est fait référence. La présente section n\'est pas applicable aux luminaires de classe III. Il n\'est pas nécessaire d\'utiliser des transformateurs «Très basse tension de sécurité» (TBTS) pour satisfaire aux prescriptions de cette section.
