Aims to facilitate international communication in data processing. It presents, in two languages, terms and definitions of concepts relevant to data processing and identifies relationships between entries. To facilitate translation into other languages, definitions are drafted so as to avoid peculiarity attached to a language. Deals with concepts of computer graphics and also representation and storage of images, addressing techniques and concepts, functional units, processes and methods of operations.
