This British Standard specifies procedures for the inspection and testing of materials covered by specifications for textiles for aerospace purposes.

NOTE 1 The information to be supplied by the purchaser in the contract or order is listed in Annex A.

NOTE 2 This British Standard does not purport to cover all quality requirements for subsequent processing or the end use of any textile.

NOTE 3 Details of the classification, methods of marking and acceptance limits for the more common faults in certain broad groups of textiles are given in Annex B. Permitted tolerances are stated where applicable.

NOTE 4 The latest revision of an Aerospace Series standard is indicated by a prefix number.
